An all around great laptop bag. I use it for the office and I cycle to work so it's good for the bike as well. I recently went on a 7 day vacation with this backpack and an Ogio carry on sized piece of luggage. Plenty of room for all of my stuff and more. I had the bag filled and had a little bit of an issue getting it under the seat, so be careful how much you fill it. Also I believe that for everyday use the laptop pocket might put a bit of pressure on the laptop. I have a Lenovo Yoga and notice pressure marks on the screen sometimes. Overall I am glad I have this bag.
I love the setup and organization the bag has. I'm an old "briefcase" guy, and happily I've found the Gambit 17 to fulfill all of my needs as an industrial account manager. Can't wait to take it on a trip.
Saved my laptop, ipad, sunglasses at 90+MPH
I walked back to my car after attending a MLB game in Texas only to find my car being broken into, the thieves suddenly jumped in their car, so I rushed to my car to follow. They had my gambit backpack with my laptop, bose headphones, ipad, money and other items. I proceed to chase them for over 30 minutes in the Dallas Ft. Worth area, at that time they throw my bookbag out. Thinking they stole everything from it, i open it up to see my laptop in tact, ipad there, only thing missing were the headphones. To survive a 90mph toss out is impressive. A few scratches on the bag, but it held up! Great bag
I took mine on vacation. It's amazing how much stuff I could carry. Laptop, iPad, camera, chargers, etc. all with easy access. Love the pocket for sunglasses!
I love this pack
I ride a motorcycle almost everyday and my Gambit 17 serves as my "trunk". I work in the day and go to school at night. This means about 20lbs. of books and another 10lbs of various necessary items along with my laptop get put into the various compartments of this pack. The bag has held up amazingly well with absolutely no signs of wear and tear.
I originally purchased this pack because a previous reviewer said the pack "Was big enough for Justin Bieber's ego." I found this to be the truth!
Thank you for putting out a quality product at such a reasonable price.

Best Bag Ever!
I have owned a lot of different computer/accessory bags in the past, but I have to admit that this bag tops them all hands down! I travel often for extended lengths of time. I am simply amazed at how well this bag is organized to handle so many items. Recently I was able to pack a 17" PC, 13" MBP, iPad Mini and a Cannon 7D and an extra lens along with lots of other wires and accessories. The bag was heavy, but it handled all of these items and didn't even look stretched! The one thing that really sold me was the heavy duty zippers. My previous bag, that cost a lot more, failed while on an out of country business trip. The zipper completely broke and I didn't have near the amount of gear packed in it. So if you are looking for a really durable and functional bag that can pack a lot of things, look no further. Now I am looking for another smaller bag from Ogio for smaller trips that I don't have to take so many items.
Got My Gambit 17 a few weeks ago and first impressions are great. looks cool, feels good. Lots of nice pockets. Plenty of room for all my tech gear. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up over a year or two, but right off the bat I am impressed.
All in all, a good p
All in all, a good pack for the money. Lots of features and pocket types. I have one of these for 3 years now, use it everyday! However, the main zippers went at the end of year one. Front pockets tore at year two. Still a great pack. Just ordered another one for replacement.
Even though that laptop sleeve is only made for a 15", the compartment holds my 17" just fine. I carry a 17" laptop, 13" chromebook, 7" tablet, two different external drives, notebook, pens, pencils, batt. back-up, cords/wires for everything, binder, papers, mouse and pad, glasses/sunglasses, manuals, leatherman tool, and a ton of other stuff! I LOVE THIS BAG! Now, if I could only find a Ogio briefcase that could carry as much.
