Well thought out "better mousetrap"

My biggest problem with gym bags is carrying them around. Their long, horizontal length makes them very unmanageable for me. The backpack design is what I needed. But Ogio didn't just throw on backpack straps -- they added a sternum strap and ventilated back padding to make it truly functional. Sling it onto one shoulder, and it hangs almost vertically instead of horizontally. The large number of compartments means that all your stuff doesn't shift to the bottom of the bag when you carry it.

The hard storage compartment is also great idea, as I can throw my sunglasses, earbuds and cell phone in there without worry. Finallly, I'm a water-sports guy, and being able to stuff a full wetsuit into the bottom ventilated storage compartment is a godsend. I have trips to the Carribean, Hawaii and Australia planned this year, and I'll be taking the 8.0 along with me as carry-on.
