COMPANY NEWS: What can you add to a warehouse filled with rails, boxes, transitions and even a foam pit?

2005-11-10

"Bluffdale, Utah- What can you add to a warehouse filled with rails, boxes, transitions and even a foam pit?  How about an enormous mini-spine ramp?  That’s exactly what we did to our Athlete Training Facility (ATF) here in Utah.  Brock Harris of Binary Skateboards was moving out of his warehouse and needed a home for his incredible mini, so with an army of groms we set out to transport and rebuild the beast 2 miles down the road at Ogio.  “This is one of the most fun mini ramps I’ve ever ridden!!” says Ogio skate team manager Eric Bork.  “It will be a great escape from the snowy Utah winter for all of our athletes”.
After two days of moving pieces, nailing them together, screwing Masonite down and generally shoehorning the massive 58’ x 32’ “mini” into the ATF warehouse, it was beginning to take shape.  “The ATF was sick already, now it’s just crazy” added snow and BMX team manager Pouch.  “The Athlete Training Facility really offers Ogio team riders across all of our sports a place to get together and ride and improve.  We’ve got moto guys flipping minibikes into the foam pit, skaters and snowboarders shredding the ramps and BMX kids hitting everything!”"
