COMPANY NEWS: OGIO Introduces Athlete-Designed Snowboard Gear Collection

2004-06-22

Any snowboarder knows that practice makes perfect - an adage that holds weight among designers as well. By combining advice from some of the nation's top snowboarders with OGIO's more than 15 years of gear bag design expertise, the company is ready to unveil its slickest snow collection ever.

"The snowboard industry is progressing at an intense rate," says Packs and Duffles manager Ken Tincher. "These athletes need up-to-date, dependable bags to tolerate their sport. With assistance from OGIO teammates like Jeremy Jones, J.J. Thomas, and Seth Huot, we feel we can deliver".

The 2004 Snow line includes snowboard carry bags with enough room to fit your board, bindings, two decks, and extra gear. Additionally, every pack in the line is specifically designed with an original snowboard carry system.

OGIO"s new snow collection consists of:

-The Seth Huot (MSRP: $59.99) is qualified to hit the slopes sporting a vertical snowboard system, tool organizer panel, laptop sleeve and a fleece-lined audio pocket with a headphone exit port. Seth's first pro-model bag comes with a sternum strap and waist belt for added comfort and style, and is available in a cool shade of Black Denim with tennis-ball green interior;

-The Jeremy Jones (MSRP: $74.99), an unconventional backpack designed with built-in vertical snowboard carry system, avalanche probe sleeve, and waist belt. Available in Snow Camo, the Jeremy Jones also features CD media storage and a tool organizer panel;

-The Jeremy Jones II ($59.99), offers up a compact vertical and horizontal snowboard carry system, shovel pocket, and ski carry system. The Jeremy Jones II comes in Juice, Bone, and Black.

-The J.J. Thomas ($59.99) packs a vertical snowboard carry system, tool organizer panel, fleece-lined audio pocket, and padded digital camera pocket in 1400 cubic inches. The J.J. Thomas is available in Petrol and Redline.
